As a platform department of Zhongshan Hospital, the International Medical Center (IMC), established in June 2021, is located in the Fenglin Campus of the hospital, adjacent to the Shanghai Medical College, and is dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive and personalized medical services (Muti-disciplinary Team, international referrals services, etc.) for domestic and foreign patients, and patients with high-end commercial insurance, as well as elites from all over the word. The IMC combines the comprehensive strength of Zhongshan Hospital's top medical education and research, benchmarks the international first-class medical standards, creates a unique new model of medical services, adheres to the Zhongshan spirit of "all for the patient", and provides high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services, with the aim of providing patients with a warm and efficient medical experience.

The IMC consists of medical, nursing, operations management, commercial insurance and coordination teams. All medical and nursing staff have undergone rigorous assessment and screening, and possess solid professional knowledge and rich clinical experience. The core team of experts, led by academicians and comprising more than 300 specialists from over 60 disciplines, is dedicated to providing patients with comprehensive and accurate diagnosis and treatment to protect your health.

The nursing team has achieved standardized management of all diseases and possesses a number of specialized nursing skills, including pain management, intravenous therapy, wound management, nutritional management and etc. In addition, our foreign nursing has fluent English communication skills and provide personalized care for patients.

The IMC has 2 floors of outpatient clinics and 5 floors of inpatient areas, providing a warm and comfortable medical environment. The building is equipped with operating room, intensive care unit, endoscopy center, MRI, CT, molybdenum target and other large-scale examination equipment, as well as color ultrasound, cardiac ultrasound, dynamic electrocardiogram, lung function, etc., which can complete most of the examinations required for diagnosis and treatment without going out of the building, and at the same time, providing an independent and private environment for examination.
